General Rules

These rules apply across every Lich Souls Gaming space and community. Community-specific rules are supplemental — these always apply first.

    Universal Application

    These rules are to be followed in every instance that Lich Souls Gaming is involved or affiliated — including but not limited to Discord text and voice channels, game servers, the website, and any instance where you can be considered a representative of the community. Regardless of who is present and when.

    Channel Relevance

    Use appropriate channels for appropriate things. Posts in channels should be relevant to that channel.

    Zero Tolerance Content

    Posts, comments, chat, or content that is discriminatory, derogatory, NSFW, or constitutes toxic behavior will result in an immediate ban. This includes but is not limited to slurs, hate speech, and harassment.

    Security

    For the safety of all members, posters of suspicious links and suspicious accounts will be banned immediately.

    Excessive Tagging

    Excessive tagging (as judged by moderators) by non-moderation members is prohibited.

    Respect

    Be polite and respectful to all people at all times.

    Advertising & Promotion

    Do not advertise or promote unless it is approved by the server owner or you have earned the appropriate rank to do so. Promotion of other Discord servers is not permitted under any circumstances.

    Staff Discretion

    Depending on the severity of rule-breaking, staff may ban a member without prior warning.

    Mental Health & Wellbeing

    We understand that everyone has their own traumas and mental health struggles. We strive to be an inclusive, supportive community — however, we are first and foremost a gaming collective and not a substitute for professional counseling services. For the safety and well-being of all members, please refrain from trauma dumping unless it has been explicitly consented to.

    Warning System

    In minor cases of rule-breaking, members will be given two clear warnings. After the second warning a staff member will issue a ban. Reacting to a warning in any way other than simply stopping the behavior may count as a continued infraction, or grounds for an immediate ban if two warnings have already been issued.

    Media Usage

    Any clips, pictures, videos, or other media posted in the Discord may be used for — but is not limited to — social media and content creation.
