LichCraft Rules

All General Rules apply to the LichCraft server. The rules listed here are in addition to those and are specific to active play on the server.

No Cheating, Hacking, or Griefing
Do not cheat, hack, or grief. This includes mods like Baritone or X-ray equivalents. Do not use game-breaking exploits unless explicitly allowed. When in doubt, ask a moderator first.

  Explicitly Allowed Mods
  Optifine / Sodium, Shaders, AutoClicker, CommandMacros, EasierCrafting, EasierVillagerTrading, LightLevelOverlay, Litematica, MouseTweaks, ShulkerTooltip, Voxelmap (including waypoints).
2. ii.
  Cave Modes Are NOT Allowed
  "Cave modes" from any map mod — except Voxelmap — are not permitted. This includes Journeymap and Xaero's map mods. Using these to locate ores is not allowed under any circumstances. Minimaps are a privilege; continued misuse will result in them being fully prohibited and a server-side anti-xray plugin being installed. They exist to help you navigate, not to gain an unfair advantage.

  Ore & Chest Finding
  The only advantage you may have in finding ores or chests is one provided by vanilla Minecraft, a non-xray resource pack, or a shader that makes them glow.

  Unclaimed Land
  Even if land is unclaimed, do not take items or blocks placed there by another player.

Explicitly Allowed Exploits
The following exploits are permitted (the absence of an exploit from this list does not automatically make it disallowed — Rule A applies): carpet duplication, any type of rail duplication, bedrock removal, and 0-tick farms.

Item Duplication
General item duplication — such as hopper or portal duping — is NOT allowed. Gravity block duplication by an individual is NOT allowed. A public duper is available on the server and sand can be purchased cheaply at the End spawn.

Grief & Chest Protection
Grief and chest protection is active within claimed territory. Mining and building in the wilderness is permitted, but Rule A applies.

  Wilderness Courtesy
  Do not leave the overworld environment a mess if someone lives nearby. Rule A applies.

PvP
PvP being enabled does not constitute consent. You are able to kill other players, but it's generally not the nice thing to do.

Vigilante Justice
Vigilante justice is allowed, but Rule A still applies — act within reason. Example of what is NOT okay: "He stole my flower, so I burned his forest down." Example of what IS okay: "He ignored my requests to stay away from my house, so I killed him."

Shop Plots
Assigned shop plots are a privilege, not a right. Do not use alternate accounts or other players to obtain additional plots. Moderators reserve the right to deny plots if there is reason to doubt legitimacy.

  Plot Revocation
  Plots inside admin claims (such as the city) may be revoked for good reason, including inactivity. Any belongings on a revoked plot will be stored in the city for a period of time for the owner to reclaim.

Server Performance
Do not keep more than 100 villagers and/or minecarts in the same chunks. If your base or farm area is heavily taxing the server, you may be asked to avoid it during peak hours. Briefly grabbing items is fine; prolonged activity in a high-impact area is not. If a moderator asks you to avoid an area, please do so.
